The Role Of The Church In The Community: Jesus Ministered To Their Needs (9 of 13)
Before Jesus asked anyone to follow Him, He gave them good reason to believe that they could trust Him with their lives. How did He do that? By showing sympathy and caring for them. Is there a lesson Christians can learn from the old maxim, People don't care about what you know, until they know that you care.? What practical things can we do to help those around us and in doing so perhaps gain an interested ear in the gospel? There are plenty. The question, however, is are we willing to help where we can help, or are we too preoccupied with our own interests? Enjoy this weeks study withPastor Chris Buttery.
