The Safety Committee is responsible for establishing and maintaining emergency prevention and evacuation plans for the safety and wellbeing of the church family.  The Safety Coordinator works closely with the Safety Committee to establish the roles for all parties in the event of an emergency.  The Safety Coordinator, along with his/her team of Safety Officers, will ensure that elders, deacons, Sabbath School leaders and others in their charge are properly trained in their duties.
