CloseThis idea of election has gotten some people in a bind. When we go to the polls and vote for a political candidate, we are electing that person to office. We do the choosing. Does God choose/decide some to be saved? If so, are they saved against their free will? Is this the meaning behind the word predestination? Is that what the word election means?
