CloseThe history of Christianity is littered with sad tales of church leaders who wanted power and prestige, and would do anything to maintain their control over the masses. But that's not the way things started out in the early Christian church. Appointed leaders acted very differently. And as a result the church reflected the attributes of Christ and grew by leaps and bounds.
