Debt Crisis, Part 1

It’s all over the news and dominating the headlines; the U.S continues to rack up serious debt!  Presently the nation’s debt stands at a whopping $18 trillion.  That means each citizen owes over $50,000!  If you go to www.USDebtClock.org you won’t be able to keep up with the accumulating numbers as they increase at an alarming rate (be prepared to brace yourself). 

According to economist in the know, it will be practically impossible to pay back this amount.  It’s just not going to happen.  The word “crisis” doesn’t even begin to describe the financial mess we’re in.  Speaking of debts, have you ever considered that every person on planet earth owes a debt they cannot pay?  I’m not talking dollars and cents, but something of far greater consequence.  According to the Bible each of us carries around a sin debt that requires our very life.

Your Best Pathway to Health event far exceeded expectations,with $20,124,000 in services offered, more than double the original goal of $10million. Instead of achieving their original goal of 1,500 healthcare professionals and volunteers, more than 1,700 volunteered to assist with the no-cost mega medical and dental clinic. Out of the 6,192 people treated, 360 were given free surgical services. San Antonio Mayor Ivy R. Taylor came for a tour of the event which was held in San Antonio, Texas, April 8 to 10, and talked with the volunteers and patients. Watch the video here.

The Voice of Prophecy media ministry officially opened the doors at its new home in Loveland, CO on April 9, following 86 years in California. The dedication ceremony hosted more than 300 people and included leadership from the Rocky Mountain Conference, members of the local Chamber of Commerce and the community, and many church members – some of whom drove hours to attend the event.
