New Website Launched! We’re happy to announce that Central’s new website is now up and running. The address hasn’t changed (it’s still www.saccentral.org) but the look and some of the features have. Aside from being able to review the online bulletin or listen to archived MP3 sermons, our new site offers the following:
• Calendar of Events – a bird’s eye view of what’s happening at Central
• Our History – a brief look at our fascinating past
• Campus – a map and guide of the church
• Ministries – new and updated
• The Central Happenings - sign up and follow
• Free Online Bible School - opportunity to make forever friends
• Central Study Hour - fully edited programs ready to view in time for the weekly lesson
• Receiving the Word - fully edited programs posted to our YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/thecentralconnection) that can be viewed
Tell everyone where they can go to stay connected to what’s happening at Central!
Central Study Hour: The pastoral staff is looking for Central members who would like to get involved in the recording of the Central Study Hour by asking a question or making a comment related to the lesson. All you have to do is email your question or comment to csh@saccentral.org before 8 p.m. on the Thursday night before, along with your name (first and last) and a contact telephone number. If your question/comment is approved (it must be related that week's lesson) you will be notified by Friday evening and asked to share your thoughts with the class that Sabbath. If you would prefer your question/comment be read for you, please indicate that on your email. We can only accept a certain number of questions/comments per class so don't be disappointed if you're not contacted right away. Keep trying and we'll get to you eventually. Thank you for your willingness to get involved and we’ll see you early this coming Sabbath!
Invest in Eternity! We have launched our very own media ministry that will continue to develop high-quality, Christ-centered programming (including Central Study Hour and Receiving the Word) for all.
Good news; our cameras and studio equipment are now set up and we have raised over $30,000 of our $75,000 goal. We still have a way to go, but we are thankful for the dedication and sacrifice made by our members who are making this dream a reality. To financially support this endeavor please use the tithe envelope and record your gift on the line that says “Media Ministry” or click here to give online. Don’t forget to keep our Evangelism budget funded for program production and television broadcast costs as well. Thank you for your continued support.
