Interactive Sabbath School Class: The pastoral staff is looking for Central members who would like to get involved in the recording of Central Study Hour by asking a question or making a comment related to the lesson. All you have to do is email your question or comment to csh@saccentral.org before 8 p.m. on the Thursday night, along with your name (first and last) and a contact telephone number. If your question/comment is approved (it must be related to that week's lesson) you will be notified by Friday evening and asked to share your thoughts with the class that Sabbath. If you would prefer your question/comment be read for you, please indicate that on your email. We can only accept a certain number of questions/comments per class so please don't be disappointed if you're not contacted right away. Keep trying and we'll get to you eventually. Thank you for your willingness to get involved and we’ll see you early this coming Sabbath!
Invest in Eternity! Beginning this Sabbath (September 13) we will be launching our very own media ministry that will continue to develop high-quality, Christ-centered programming (including Central Study Hour and Receiving the Word) for all.
Good news; our cameras and studio equipment have arrived and we are one-third of the way toward reaching our goal of $75,000. We still have a way to go, but we are thankful for the dedication and sacrifice made by our members who are making this dream a reality. To financially support this endeavor please use the tithe envelope and record your gift on the line that says “Media Ministry” or click here to give online. Don’t forget to keep our Evangelism budget funded for program production and television broadcast costs as well. Thank you for your continued support!
Visitation Ministry: you can be a part of a vital team to show care for our member families who are experiencing illness or some type of loss. The opportunities are as unique as each individual. Come and find out more about Central’s Visitation Ministry and what we can do to provide care for our congregation on Sabbath, September 13 @ 1:30 PM. For more information email Pastor Mike and Helen Thompson @ hthompson@amazingfacts.org.
Adventurer Club is now signing up children, ages 4 to 9 (3 ½ with parents), who would like to learn more about Jesus through Bible stories, music, nature, and crafts. Year-round activities include family fun weekend, Christmas caroling, field trips, classes, etc. Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Sabbath of each month from September through May. There will be a registration table in the foyer at the end of church each Sabbath until the first class meeting on September 20.
