The Endless Journey

A slip of the tongue or a mistake in speech can leave an impression that wasn’t intended, or promote information that isn’t accurate. A simple mistake can lead to a major misunderstanding. We don’t want to make any mistakes regarding our salvation. If we do, the result won’t be mere misunderstandings but something a whole lot more consequential!

Salvation can be summed up in the words of Jesus in John 3:16" "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." To know that we are in a saving relationship with Jesus is essential. While we can know that salvation is ours, we are warned against false security, a kind of spiritual pride that says, “I’m sure of my salvation because of what I do,” or “I’m sure of my salvation in spite of what I do.” Both of these positions are...
