Loving Lawlessness

I don’t think many would disagree with me when I say that lawlessness is on the rise today.  Every day society’s laws are broken.  From the driver who defies speed limits, to the thief who breaks into a house to steal electronics, to the jealous man who assaults his girlfriend’s admirer; the daily occurrence of these things and more depict that many in our society have little regard for law.

Today there is a growing disrespect for the rule of law.  In protest to the United States President’s threat that he will defund sanctuary cities if they insist on harboring illegal alien criminals, one politician ironically stated: “There is no illegal alien in this city who is breaking the law”!

Lawlessness at all levels of society is a problem today, and while it should be extremely concerning to us, Christians who don’t have regard for God’s law should concern us more…
