Children's Leadership Conference will be held March 28 to 30 on the campus of Andrews University. Full Adventurer Basic Staff Training and Hispanic Workshop Tracks (Basic and Advanced) will be available. Other workshops include Kids' Health Expo, Creative Prayer Ministry, Children's Ministries basics, and much more. Several of the workshops will be great for kids who would like to learn more about ministry. Town Hall Meetings: In preparation for the 2014 Northern California Conference (NCC) Constituency Session, a series of town hall meetings will be held around the conference for delegates and interested members. The meeting at Gracepoint Church (in Rocklin) will be on April 3 @ 7 PM
Sacramento Adventist Academy (SAA) Golf Tournament: Join us at this year’s SAA Golf Tournament on Friday, April 11. We are accepting registration for golfers and sponsors (at all levels). Help us raise money for SAA’s Annual Fund, which provides funds to support SAA top priorities including worthy student funds, academic and technology needs, campus improvement projects and more. Loma Linda University Health’s (LLUH) first national TV show, "Life on the Line," will soon reach 72 million American households. The program, which features courageous individuals and turns their journeys into a moving documentary series, premieres on PBS’s WORLD Channel.
“This show isn’t just about the doctors, but how real people find meaning in the midst of a tragedy. This is where the real story lives and their strength of spirit shines,” says Patricia Kelikani, director of Advancement Films at LLUH. "Life on the Line" is narrated by celebrity host and journalist, Lisa Ling, and produced by the 12-time Emmy Award winning team, Advancement Films. The show follows patients from Southern California to the Amazon, Haiti, and Egypt as they all fight a similar battle to stay alive. It begins, April 4, at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT. Click here to learn more.
The Adventists, the popular documentary film that explores Seventh-day Adventists and their unique health story, has been renewed for airing on PBS stations through spring 2016. In addition, The Blueprint, which tells the story of Adventist education, will be released for PBS stations in April. Check your local listings.
