Stand up for Jesus!

We are living in the time of the end, right before Jesus comes! Darkness and evil is all around us. Prophecy is being fulfilled right in front of our eyes. Everywhere I look I see the world crying out that Jesus is coming very soon. Are you ready to stand as a son or daughter of Almighty God?

1 Peter 4:7 says, "The end of all things is near therefore be clear minded, self-controlled so that you can pray." We desperately need to be on our knees everyday agonizing and pleading for victory over all sin. To inherit the heavenly kingdom and live with God for eternity, we must overcome. Jesus is not coming back for a bunch of sinners. He is coming back for those who have victory over all sin. I want to be in that number, don't you?

Now is the time my brothers and sisters, to be completely surrendered to Jesus. To put on the righteousness of Christ; to put on His robe of light, to have the character of Christ for the Day of His Judgment is very near.

Now is the time to repent and give our sins to Jesus while He is still in the Most Holy Place making atonement for our sins so He can wash us clean and free from all sin and make us spotless without any spot or blemish. It is His job to take away our sins, but it is our job to be willing to let Him complete His work in us.

Philippians 1:6 promises us that Christ who has begun a good work in us will complete that work before He comes again. What an incredible promise to us! Jesus promises that He will give us victory over all sin if we allow Him to.  Are you willing?

Central Matters

Your Gifts Needed: Our thrift store ministry is gearing up for the winter season and is in need of new clothing and seasonal items. Due to not having the capital at this time to make the necessary purchases we are asking you to help raise $5,000 towards this very important project. We are encouraged by the steady improvements seen since our renovation project, but your assistance is still needed. Please mark your tithe envelopes, “Thrift Store Ministry,” and give what you can. This fundraising drive will be open for the next two weeks and needs to be above regular giving to the church budget. Thank you kindly. – Smart Thrift Committee.

Heroes of Faith, with Amazing Facts speaker/director Doug Batchelor, will begin October 2, 2015 and run through October 10. Important Bible messages for the whole family will be presented.
