The Judgment Of The Living
We know the Bible teaches that judgment comes some time after a man dies (Hebrews 9:27). We also know that the first angel’s message in Revelation 14:6, 7 says that “the hour of His judgment is come.” It’s here already judging all the people that have died. But, what about the people that will not die before the return of Christ? As the investigative judgment in heaven draws to a close before Jesus comes, it will become focused on all those people still alive, still making choices. That’s called the judgment of the living.

This is quite an amazing thought. You see, it’s not very complicated for God and angels to judge those who have died because their record is final. Each person’s record has been kept perfectly, and it won’t change because dead people no longer make choices. They’re dead. But, to judge living people who are still making choices; how can that be done fairly?...
