How would you have fared if, as a young child, you had been taken from your home against your will and the mastermind behind the crime got sick; would you be inclined to offer any help toward his recovery? Would it be easy to feel compassion for a person like this? In this week's study withPastor Chris Buttery we'll look at a Bible story of a young girl who, taken from here home and carried back to a foreign land to be a slave, left a powerful witness to God in this pagan home despite her forbidding circumstances. We'll discover how we can be empathetic in the face of cruelty and mis treatment.
