2015 is the Year of Health. The worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church has designated this year the Year of Health.  With this in mind we’ll be sharing some health tips from time to time during the year that we hope will inspire and encourage you to make the best choices when it comes to your health.  Watch this short clip and take action.

Northern California Adventists Assisted in the Response to the Destructive Wild Fires that ravaged parts of Northern California. The Camino, Calif. church members provided their church building for use as an evacuation center and a shelter for people and about 50 dogs and cats. They provided food, assisted the Red Cross and more. The Yreka church and school made "sifting boxes" to help people whose homes were destroyed search for small items lost in the fires. They spent hours helping to organize donations including clothes and toys. Mount Shasta church members continue to help a family get what they need after they lost their home.  To read more, click here

BibleTools.Info. Someone has created this simple yet very useful website for those looking for comments on a particular Bible verse and don't have access to these resources via Logos or other software packages. It combines The Ellen White Writings Scriptural Index data with the SDA Bible Commentary Ellen G. White comments (i.e. vol. 7A). Some navigational features aren't implemented yet and the SOP links don't always work from inside the SDA Bible Commentary, but it's a great start! Exodus - The Great Deliverance: Hot off the press from Remnant Publications, this book was released in time to share the true story of Moses and the exodus to counter the confused story shared in the new Hollywood movie “Exodus: Gods & Kings.” Click here to get your copy to share, or wait till it comes to Central and Your Neighbor Thrift Store in the next few days.
