Behind The Golden Mask
November 26, 1922 will ever remain a hallowed date for lovers of Egyptian history. It was on this day that archeologist Howard Carter entered the inner chambers of King Tutankhamun’s tomb. “Strange animals, statues and gold … everywhere the glint of gold,” wrote Carter as he recorded the event. For several years further excavation continued, uncovering thousands of historical artifacts. As Carter and his team conducted their search a stone sarcophagus was also found containing three coffins nestled within each other. Inside the final coffin, made of solid gold, was found the mummy of the boy ruler. For more than 3,000 years Tutankhamun had laid here undisturbed in the Valley of the Kings.

Please join us for our first communion service in over a year! It is scheduled for March 13 during the worship service. We will be using pre-packaged emblems to ensure everyone's health and wellbeing. The ordinance of humility will be on offer for those who feel
