Fijian Pastor, Joseph O’Connor
Meeting Times: Saturday morning
Welcome or Bula!
The Fijian Ministries exists to serve ethnic family and friends of the largest Pacific Island immigrants that are settling into Sacramento from Fiji. This ministry serves as an incubator service agency for the world church within a diverse local church like Sacramento Central.
Meeting felt needs of immigrants settling into a new community and culture range from temporary accommodation, transportation, education and job opportunities including essential needed supplies.
Spiritual nourishment for a God who will sustain them for eternity is the goal. They range from offers for a church family, prayer through home and care facility visits, and the distribution of literature and media resources including bible studies for interests. Followed by quarterly guest Sabbaths for friends whose lives we’ve touched.
You can be involved donating time, money and resources needed for above ministries. Employment for caregivers is one way, for 99% of the Fijian communities do it.
Come join us for our bilingual Sabbath School @ 9:30 am in the Upper Left Room of the Main Sanctuary and our Bilingual Worship Services meets in the Youth Chapel beginning at 5:00 pm this fall.
