Adventure Club
Adventure Club Leader: Lettitia Karn

Our Adventure club is geared towards ages 4 through 9 and operates between the middle of September through May. We meet at 2 o’clock in the Chapel on the 1st and 3rd Sabbath of every month.

Club time includes singing and pre-Pathfinder type activities earning awards (patches) by practicing new skills. Between 2:30 and 3:30, our teachers help the club members learn more about Jesus through nature and crafts during our small group activities. Based on the curriculum created by a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the students progressively learn about:

God’s plan to save us, His message to us, and His power in our lives,
Their caring role in their families,
Their value, gifts and talents,
Their world of friends, family and nature.

Our club classes include:
Little Lambs (ages 3 ½ with parent through age 4)
Eager Beavers (age 5)
Busy Bees (age 6)
Sunbeams (age 7)
Builders (age 8)
Helping Hands (age 9)

Parent participation is encouraged as we also have activities through the year like Christmas caroling at assisted living facilities, family fun night, field trips, etc. When ready, the children get a turn about once a month, helping the deacons take up the offering, while wearing their Adventure Club uniform. Through club activities the children have opportunities to serve and lead out periodically.

We trust you will be blessed being a part of our Adventure Club.
